Contacted this company and immediately booked with them. Martyn was extremely helpful with booking and answering questions I had. This was my first time hiring movers so I was extremely anxious. However, I was told the estimated total and the approximate hours it would take.
They also checked in with me a couple days ahead of my move to confirm things and answer final questions/concerns.
Yesterday, moving day my 2 movers ( Anton and Vlad ) arrived early in the estimated time time frame. They were kind and worked very quickly and efficiently. My studio apartment took about 3.5 hours (including drive time) to move. Which was only slightly longer than I expected.
Overall, I had a great experience and will use this company again for my next move.
Hint : have things ready to go! They come ready to work and the more organized you are the better they can help you. Also, help them if you can to save time and money!
They guys were great! Professional, quick and courteous. They went above and beyond what was expected. My office desk was so huge I had to assemble it in the room when I purchased it! These guys found a way to get it out of the room without damage or complete disassembly! When we got to the new house they even moved existing furniture that I had already moved! And these guys are very honest, there was a mistake assembling my daughters bunk beds which they corrected and they didn't charge me for the time it took to correct their mistake. If i ever move again I will definitely use these guys and highly recommend them.

Best movers in SoCal. If you are reading these reviews trying to determine who to hire, as I did myself just last month, stop reading and hire Los Angeles Movers. I am a paranoid, skeptical, OCD, efficiency freak and cheap on top of that. So I did my research online, read reviews, read the fine print, made the calls and selected these guys. They were GOLDEN! Great communicators, showed up on time, did everything they promised, took the things apart that needed taking apart and put them back together better than they were in the first place. They were polite, caring, gentle - had every tool, accessory, etc. a mover could possibly need - they just went the extra mile. And then...their bill was exactly what they said it would be - no add-ons, special charges, etc. - all the fun stuff the other movers forget to tell you about or have buried away in the fine print. Stop reading and book them - they are the best!
Most efficient movers I had. Arrived on time, great communications. Very helpful Men working non-stop! I even had to remind them to drink water.

These guys worked very quickly and efficiently. They wrapped all the furniture and everything was very secure in the truck before they took off. I was quite happy with how this move went.
After my last upsetting review, I was pleasantly surprised John, the owner of the company, called me and left a message to apologize. I was reluctant to call back but I did and he personally apologized on the behalf of his guys for my terrible experience. He admitted his mistakes and assured me that this guy was a rare bad apple in his moving crew and he's not going to be representing him or his company again. He understood my concerns and issues and agreed with me that what I went through was unprofessional behavior and he explained the mix-up that happened as to why they showed up late but that doesn't explain their slow/unprofessional behavior and also agreed with me that it should not have taken them that long to help me move. He made a nice gesture to give me an amazing offer to use his moving services again in the next year or two.
I have to say I was really glad to meet a business owner who really cares about his company and is willing to hear me out and take some action to improve the services and the people they hire. He guaranteed some great movers with this great deal the next time around so I'm willing to give him that chance. Everyone deserves a second chance, right?
We have a weekly special and our rates start from $129/hour for 2 movers, but we’re always trying to suggest the best option and that’s why we send different number of movers for different sizes, because if we’ll send 2 guys for a big move it’s going to take them forever, so it’s not efficient. Normally we send: 2 movers and 1 truck – preferred option for studio/1 bedroom; 3 movers and 1 truck – preferred option for 2 bedroom/ small 3 bedroom or small size office; 4-6 movers and 1 or 2 truck – preferred option for large 3-5 bedroom houses or medium/large size office. Honestly, the number of movers doesn’t affect the final cost, because rate for less movers is lower, but it’s going to take them more time to move everything, in the same time rate for more movers is higher, but they’ll move you in fewer hours, so it’s going to be the same final amount either way. Let us give you an example please – from our experience a 5 hours job for 2 movers is a 3 hours job for 3 movers and it’s the same final price. Yes, it’s a standard of moving industry and we have a 3 -4 hours minimum within our service area of San Fernando Valley, but if you’re moving from of a 2/3br or bigger house/apt the minimal doesn’t matter, because usually it takes more than 3 hours.
Unfortunately, we never know how long it’s going to take, because we’ve never seen what you have. Every move is different and unique in some way, because people have different furniture, different amount of stuff, different working conditions, different level of preparation, etc. Your movers will work as fast as possible and we’re not going to waste your time. Also we don’t charge for any breaks or overtime. You just pay for the service time and your total time depends on what you have and what you want us to do. If you want to save your time please pack everything as much as you can. If everything is packed, boxes and ready to go it’s going to be much faster.

All our movers are full time employees, they’re trained professionals with a background check, so you have nothing to worry about.
We provide 12′ trucks for studio or 1br and 26’ truck bigger moves. It’s like a 10×20 storage unit, one car garage or larges U-Haul. Usually it’s enough for a regular 3-4br house, but every house is different, so we can’t guarantee to take everything in one load if you have more than that. If you think that 1 truck is not enough we can do 2 trips (if the distance if short) or provide 2 trucks.
Your time starts when we arrive at your place (when you sign the agreement) and ends when your move is done.

Double Drive Time (DDT) is a California state regulation for all California movers and all moves under 100 miles. However, as a concession to our customers, we only include DDT when the distance between your pick up and drop off locations is 15 miles and over.

We provide a basic moving insurance for your belongings that takes effect from the time your items first handled by our movers until your items reach your final destination. However, our coverage is basic per the California PUC’s standard of $0.60 per pound of damages. For example, if your 30 pound chair is damaged, we’re required to reimburse in the amount of $18.00 ($0.60 x 30 pounds = $18.00). Therefore, we highly recommend purchasing additional coverage known as “third party insurance” through www.emoveinsurance.com. Their rates are very affordable, costing between 1% to 2% of the total value of your item(s) value, and insures them at their full value. Full coverage of your belongings is your responsibility to arrange and is not offered by our company. Due to California PUC law, movers CAN NOT be held responsible for valuable items, such as cash, jewelry, documents, etc., so please make arrangements to transport these items personally. We take many precautions to avoid damages to your belongings. In the event damage occurs, the customer and crew are BOTH required to discuss the matter immediately to determine the cause. If damage results from a mistake on the part of our company, every attempt will be made to assess the amount of damage and have it properly fixed. If an amount can be agreed upon between BOTH parties, the matter will be settled immediately with payment in full by our company. If the amount cannot be settled immediately between BOTH parties, the moving invoice must still be paid in full as damage claims are not valid according to insurance regulations if the invoice remains unpaid. At this point, a claim will be filed with us to compensate you for any damages. Please select your insurance option: Basic coverage – minimal coverage mandated by the California PUC covering $0.60 per pound of belongings.
